access and record a scene, conduct an interview, document findings and identify
appropriate information.

stroke and risk factors. Requires hands on operations. **We also offer a refresher

equipment, actions and methods to take in the event of various emergencies.
Emergency Escape and Action – Review and identification of actions and responsibilities in the even of sever
weather, major unforeseen occurrences, fires, and fatalities or severe injuries.
Employee Introduction – An overview of the company’s safety program, individual responsibilities and OSHA
standards.
Fire Protection and Prevention – Review of the basic principles pertaining to fire protection including; Fire
extinguisher placement, flammable and combustible material storage, administrative procedures and various
fire protection systems.
First-Aid (National Safety Council) – Identifies basic first-aid for adult or child injuries and
illness. How to control bleeding, treat thermal, chemical and electrical burns and treat
shock. Identify signs and symptoms of medical emergencies and their treatments. **We
also offer a refresher course.

Flammable and Combustible Materials – Detailed review of storage handling and use of flammable and
combustible materials and liquids. Review specific precautions that should be taken and regulatory
requirements.
Hazardous Waste Operations – Identifies the difference between a work area spill response
and a hazardous waste operations spill response and the initial response actions when a spill
occurs. List the methods used to identify a hazardous material and the associated hazards.
Identifies the key factors necessary to the selection of personal protective equipment and type
of PPE available for spill clean up and when they should be used. Demonstrate techniques
available to contain, control and clean up spills at the company. Explain decontamination
required for work area spills and describe the appropriate procedure for handling hazardous
waste generated during a spill clean up. Identify the appropriate contacts for reporting spills.
Hazardous Waste Operations Refresher – Reviews containment, decontamination, hazard awareness,
incident command system, medical surveillance, personal protective equipment, regulations, respiratory
protection, site control and toxicology. This course is from consultants, contractors, managers, supervisors and
technicians who have completed 24 or 40-hour HAZWOPER courses.
Heat Stress – Identifies situations that lead to heat stress, review signs and symptoms
and first-aid for heat related illnesses.
Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) – Detailed review of exposure potential (location/process),
exposure limits, testing, chronic and acute health effects, personal protective equipment,
regulatory guidelines and will include specific information pertaining to your facility or
work practices.
Job Hazard Analysis – Review techniques to identify potential hazards, task analysis,
preventative measures and corrective action to be taken.
Lead Awareness – Detailed review of exposure potential (location/process), exposure limits, testing, chronic
and acute health effects, personal protective equipment, regulatory guidelines and will include specific
information pertaining to your facility or work practices.
Medical Surveillance – Provide general knowledge of medical surveillance program conducted for workers
exposed to hazardous chemicals, substances or processes.
OSHA Introduction – Discuss various components of OSHA including the OSHA Act, State
and Federal OSHA, inspections, citations, record keeping and accident reporting.
OSHA Inspections – Identifies the elements of an OSHA Inspection, when they occur, why
they occur, how they proceed, how to document the inspection, typical findings, employer
rights and how to handle a citation.
Recordkeeping – Reviews requirements and identifies information that needs to be recorded and maintained
by the employer. Includes OSHA 300, 300A, 301 Accident Reports, Training and Employee records.
Substance Abuse – A review of your program. Define and explain reasons for testing, testing procedures,
explain testing results, disciplinary action, employee and employer rights and options.
Supervisor Introduction – Review of the current safety program with focus on the
supervisor’s role and responsibilities.
Supervisor Responsibility and Liability – Identifies the responsibilities of personnel in a
supervisory position, areas that supervisory personnel can be held liable. Reviews criminal
and civil liability process and previous cases. Identifies methods that can be utilized to
eliminate or minimize the risk for supervisory personnel to be held liable.
Traffic Control – Reviews the basic theory and practical skills that are required to become a qualified traffic
control person.
Walking and Working Surfaces – Reviews the general requirements, and hazards associated with walking and
working surfaces.
