Procedures
Every client company is structured with a unique set of polices and procedures that have been found to best fit
its managements style.  The company safety program must fit into and be an integral part of that overall set of
policies and procedures and thus be consistent with management's style to be truly effective.  K & R reviews
the structure of its clients companies as well as methods and procedures in place in order to design safety
policies that will be most effective for the individual client.  K & R recommends safety programs be designed
as individual policies and procedures for ease of use and to facilitate revisions when necessary.

Hot Work – Guidelines to protect employees, equipment and materials during hot-work
activities.  Permitting process to eliminate the potential of fires.

Housekeeping – Procedure to build awareness of the key hazards that are in the work
place and to verify work areas are maintained.  Document and verify that work sites are
maintained and corrective actions are conducted.
IIncentive Program – Program for rewarding personnel for conducting activities in a safe and production
oriented fashion.

Inspection Program – Guidelines for inspections and audits as well as corrective actions.  Schedule for
